The evolution…
In the beginning there was the wedding photos. Photographs, all neatly put in a fancy album, costing the father of the bride (generally) an absolute fortune for something that could have been put together by anyone with basic photography skills and a W.H. Smith’s store in their local High Street.
Next, in the 1980s or so, came the portable video cameras. This triggered the evolution of the wedding album giving us the wedding video. A shakey video generally of the floor or people out of focus. Throughout the ages, as these portable video cameras got smaller, lighter, and better with their background processes to help steady the picture from Mr. Shakey McShaker, auto focus and such.
Time passes by and technology gets better and better, the video camera evolves so much that it records directly to DVD, saving editing, however in the hands of the lazy gives a poor quality video.
All of this while the worlds greatest creation was being ignored. The Internet!
Now, the time has come, to unveil the next stage in the evolution of the nuptial agreement recording processes (i.e. wedding video/album). Take the best of what we have, mix it up with what was ignored and you end up with the wedding website.
A place which will hold your memories forever, give access to everyone you want to see it without making copies or duplicates, from any machine with an internet connection and web browser.
Full access to the wedding photos, with the options of user comments and even allow user uploads of their own snaps of your wedding.
Full access to the wedding video, complete with chapter selection much like on a DVD, and with the options of user comments and allowing user uploads of their own short video clips of your wedding.
But that’s not the end of it. Something a DVD or photo album wont do… A background story of how you first met, the proposal, everything and anything can also be included too.
Not only that, should the worst happen and your marriage falls to the same fate as over 51% of other marriages, divorce, this can also be added to the site, should you want it.
